Eligibility for Township Assistance

To qualify for Township Assistance, applicants must meet the residency requirements established by Indiana law. Applicants must reside within Center Township of Howard County and provide proof of residency.

Howard County is comprised of eleven townships, with Center Township being the largest township in the county. To ensure you are contacting the correct office, please use the “My Township” link to verify which township serves your address.

Each township is organized by specific geographic boundaries. Once you determine your township, you can contact the appropriate Township Trustee’s Office for assistance and services.
