Community Service Building
Located adjacent to the Center Township Trustee’s Office, the Community Service Building is an open-concept facility available for meetings, community activities, and special events.
Township community service organizations and nonprofit partners have priority use of the facility; however, the building is also available for rental by the general public for small events such as bridal showers, birthday parties, graduation open houses, and other gatherings.

The Community Service Building offers amenities including presentation capabilities, phone access, and a sound system to support meetings, events, and community gatherings.
The Community Service Building is equipped with a full kitchen, including an electric smooth-top range, microwave, and full-size refrigerator for use during meetings, events, and gatherings.
The Community Service Building features two ADA-compliant restrooms to ensure accessibility for all guests.

Parking Lot Rental Info for Howard County
The Community Service Building parking lot is available for public use at no rental cost. Individuals and organizations may request use of the parking lot; however, approval is required for organized events, gatherings, or any planned activities to ensure proper scheduling and avoid conflicts.
To request use of the parking lot:
- Contact the Center Township Trustee’s Office.
- Submit a request or complete any required paperwork.
- Provide details including the date, time, and purpose of the requested use.
